Montecucco Rosso D.O.C.
Montecucco rosso is made of 80% of Sangiovese grapes and 20% of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Two vines that have found in our environment very suitable growing conditions.
After a careful fermentation at controlled temperature and a rather long maceration, the finishing is made in French oak tonneaux for 6 months and then completed with 4 months of bottle ageing.
This wine is fragrant with a good body and structure. The fruity bouquet melts in sweet wood fragrances. This wine is excellent with delicate first courses, cereal soups, stewed meats white meats and barbecued meats.
